THERE ARE NATURAL CURES FOR CANCER!

Is there a natural cure for cancer? Read and find out!

The most dreaded words I never wanted to hear " Your husband has cancer!"
It's been two years ago now, but I can remember it like it was yesterday. We got the news that my beloved husband of 32 years had cancer and that it had spread to his lungs. Now, for those of you who don't know, this is considered "Stage IV" cancer - the most serious and life-threatening. Now that's like taking a big punch to the gut! Not only was this news going to affect our lives - but those of our nine kids! yes, I did say nine! After raising our first two, we began doing foster care and fell in love with and adopted seven more precious girls and boys. So, all in all we have six girls and three boys!

I became determined to give my "all" to fight for my husband's life! I've spent countless hours on the internet researching natural cures for cancer. If you or a somebody you love has cancer, you don't have to rely on just chemotherapy or radiation. There are a lot of people getting help beating their cancer with alternative medicine and diet! There is a lot of information I'd like to share with you that I have found particularly helpful.

Most helpful websites:
www.cancertutor.com. - to get a TON of information from a well- known cancer researcher.

It covers basics anyone concerned about cancer everyone concerned should know. Also, specifics on what treatments are available for each stage of cancer and how to find them. The author of this website has a lot of credibility in the alternative health care world. Not only that but he was kind enough to answer many questions I had through email. If you or a loved one has cancer I strongly urge you to check it out.

www.cancure.org - a research organization has put together an extremely comprehensive site about alternative cancer treatments. There are success stories that will inspire you. Lists lots of resources. I particularly like the very active and helpful forum. You could spend a lot of time here!

Curing Cancer the Natural Way

Most helpful book "Cancer Free" by Bill Henderson.Recommended by the cancer tutor website, it is easy to understand and has a complete alternative cancer fighting treatment plan.
Join the 2,000+ people who have read the book and are free of cancer today as a result. The author offers coaching sessions which are invaluable. I called him and we discussed what could be causing my husband's cancer and the specifics of how to treat it. Bill claims that once you determine what the cause is together, that reversing the cancer becomes easy. Cancer cells are actually weak and vulnerable.
Typical causes include root canal teeth (most breast cancers), emotional trauma and/or long term stress and poor diets.
The 2,000+ who are "cancer-free" include people with all types and stages of cancer, including many "terminal" cancer patients.

I was heartened when he told me that he never gives up on anyone who has cancer. He's seen too many people recover completely after a "survival time" sentence from their doctors. Can you follow a simple diet and supplement regimen for 6-8 weeks? That's all that that has been found necessary to reverse people's cancer.
You can read the success stories of a few of the over 1,500 people that Bill has helped cure their cancer. There a range of different treatments that all work together to get the most effectiveness. Supplements, diet and tons of information to help you understand what steps to take to start your cancer cure. It's super easy to get started and well within a tight budget. The food and supplements recommended come to under $200 a month. Bill tells the reader how to obtain the supplements at the cheapest and most reliable sources (he doesn't even profit from them!)

We were able to come up with a treatment plan through this book for my husband and it appears to be working. That is, I can say that he feels well and has lots of energy - no debilitating effects from his cancer. I am hopeful that as he follows the course of the treatment plan he will be cured of his cancer!

Bill Henderson has given me a lot of confidence in the protocol we are following. I was struck by his compassionate nature and true desire to help cure people of their dreaded cancers. I personally recommend this book especially if your cancer is a serious Stage IV cancer since it works quickly and yet is very gentle to the patient. Click Here to get full information!

As of now, my husband is physically healthy, plays basketball regularly, works full-time and has energy for his favorite past-time, which is playing with our nine children and one grandchild! He is amazing and has the most positive upbeat attitude that a lot of us (especially myself) could take a lesson from! As to his wonderful progress we attribute it to his natural treatment plan of diet and supplements as well as God working in his life!

NATURE'S CURE - FLAX SEED OIL!

I want to share with you a simple recipe that could change your life! Seriously, I really believe in this. For the sake of your health, whether you have an illness or just want to be preventative, please read this with an open mind.

Now, I don't want to sound like a textbook and most of you probably know that diets that are full of trans-fats or partially hydrogenated oils are unhealthy. What you may not know, is just how unhealthy. These oils can be a major cause of many health problems. Cancer, diabetes, heart disease and arthritis to name a few. Trans fat causes our cells to become anaerobic (without oxygen) and they start to suffocate. Our body must be able to properly metabolize the fats in our bodies and our organs and vital functions are negatively affected.

Dr. Johanna Budwig has invented a recipe to correct the imbalance of Omega 3 and Omega 6 oils in our diet. Who is Johanna Budwig, you might ask? She's been called the top European cancer research specialist. She was born in Germany and was nominated for the nobel prize 7 times! She was a biochemist, blood specialist and physicist.

She has helped cure many cancer patients. She is credited with healing cancer patients that were in the hospital near death with flax-seed oil treatment. Please see testimonials on her plan at: http://healthgroups.yahoo.com/group/flaxseedoil2/files
Not only is this diet credited as a natural cure for cancer, but it is beneficial in treating many illness and restoring the "inner terrain"of the body to a healthy state.
THE DIET
1 Tbsp of flax seed oil to
2 Tbsp of low-fat organic cottage cheese

(That's the basics! now you can add fruit and nuts if
you like for flavor!)

Use an immersion stick blender to first blender to first blend the oil and cottage cheese together. Then add your fruit and /or nuts Suggested fruits: strawberries (my favorite!), blueberries, pineapple, bananas... Nuts: almonds, walnuts, pecans (no peanuts- they carry cancer causing fungus) Cancer patients should work up to a dose of 6 Tbsp of flax seed oil to 12 Tbsp of the cottage cheese.

This is meant to be eaten right away so it doesn't lose enzymes. You buy the flax seed oil in the refrigerated section of the health food department. It's important that the cottage cheese be organic and low fat.
There us a lot more information about this diet and the many benefits of it in Johanna Budwig's book.

Do You Want Muscular Abs? 9 Steps To Get Your Own Six Pack Abs!

Every beginning bodybuilder is working on building muscular abs, getting their own six-pack abs. I think it’s important to dispel some of the myths involved in “getting ripped” abdominals. Forget what you see on TV, and learn the truth about how to get in shape.

  • Step 1: Get rid of the flab first! You may strengthen and tone your abdominal muscles with exercises but the results won’t show unless you lose the fat on top. Gotta work on that diet!
  • Step 2: Crunches are as good or better than sit-ups. Your abdominals are only involved in the first part of a sit-up. Once your shoulders lift off the floor, lower back and hip muscles take over and it’s no longer important to your abs to continue to your knees.
  • Step 3: Take a day or two break on working your abdominal muscles. You don’t want to overwork your neck and lower back, so take a break.
  • Step 4: Do only 10 – 15 reps a set. Treat ab muscles like other muscle groups. If you can do more reps it’s probably too easy and exercise or you’re not doing it right.
  • Step 5: The floor works as well as a machine or gizmo. Machines work your back and hips possible more than your abdominals. Floor exercises can be more varied and challenging.
  • Step 6: Lift from your abs, don’t use your head and neck. You’ll avoid neck pain if you learn this technique.
  • Step 7: Don’t move your elbows during ab exercises. Leave them out and rounded inward slightly to avoid pulling on your neck.
  • Step 8: Along with keeping your abs pulled in, do not flatten or arch your back. Keep about an inch between the floor and the small of your back.
  • Step 9: When doing a crunch, don’t neglect to curl forward like you are doubling over.
While exercise alone may not get you muscular abs, you will need it to build those six-pack abs.

Revealed: 95% of people who start a muscle-building program will NEVER see any significant results! Learn how to avoid these fatal muscle-building pitfalls and finally achieve the ripped, rock-solid physique you deserve by clicking here...

Gaining Weight During Menopause

8 Ways to Stop Weight Gain During Menopause

If you belong to the group of many women who feel like they've
gained weight due to menopause, there is hope! You may be wondering why your weight has gone to your abdomen instead of your hips, like when you were younger.
Oestrogen, a hormone your body produces, actually causes us to store fat on our hips. As we age, our bodies produce less oestrogen, and so the fat goes to our stomach instead of the hips. Unfortunately our bodies also tend to store fat and burn less calories due to the fact that we become insulin resistant with age.
The bad thing about storing weight around the abdomen is the increased health risks. These risks include diabetes, cardiovascular disease, hypertension and some cancers.
The start of perimenopause is often the start of weight gain at the average of 1 pound a year. A good recommendation to avoid that is to keep your calorie level at 1,200 – 1,500 calories a day.
To help counteract the weight gain during menopause, there are several things you can do.
  • Eat a diet that contains fruit, vegetables, beans, grains, cereal, fish, extra lean meat and low-fat dairy.
  • Increase fiber intake.
  • Gradually reduce calories, your metabolism needs about 200 less calories than before.
  • Reduce caffeine and alcohol.
  • Avoid sugar.
  • Keep fat intake between 20% and 35% of your daily calories
  • Get 30 minutes of moderate exercise daily – find something you like to do and stick with it!
  • Strength training to maintain and build lean muscle, use weights and resistance.

Your doctor may prescribe hormone therapy with estrogen to control menopausal symptoms. However, hormone therapy has been linked to an increased risk of breast cancer and that in itself may be reason enough to avoid it. I have been using a natural product called Estroven, which has been a great help to me during perimenopause and now during regular menopause.

Estroven Caps
Estroven Caps

The Estroven Family is the only complete
line addressing women's major health
concerns through the use of natural plant
estrogens. Estroven caps are a synergistic
combination of nutrients designed to
produce natural estrogens that may help
maintain estrogen balance naturally.
Although we normally think of estrogens
as coming from inside our bodies, they
come from plant sources as well. These
natural plant estrogens are
called "phytoestrogens." They act like your
body's own estrogen and help provide a
natural hormone balance. Soybeans and
products made from soybeans
are very rich sources of phytoestrogens.

Consult with your doctor before starting any exercise program . You may not be able to take any natural remedies if you are taking HRT. Always ask your doctor if you have any concerns.

Are You Really Ready To Lose Weight?

Losing weight can be as difficult a hurdle to cross as a long-term smoker trying to give up smoking. This is especially so if you have had bad eating habits for a long time and have also had a problem with your weight.

Over eating, like smoking, is a habit that can be very hard to break for most people. To get to the shape that they desire, many people will yo-yo back and forth from one diet to another for the majority of their lives.
Again, by comparing a person who is trying to lose with weight with one who is trying to quit smoking, that person will have a much better chance of succeeding once they make up their minds and commit to the idea of doing what it takes once and for all..
Anytime that you start a weight-loss program without the intention of following through and reaching your goal, you set yourself up to fail. You’ll always have that doubt at the back of your mind.
Many people first have to conquer what goes on in their mind, even more than what they are putting into their stomach. You need to deal with the mental issues first before in order to have the best chance to lose weight and get in shape.
If you get rid of certain habits in your life you will be training your mind to accept a new lifestyle as your natural state. Mind power is very powerful and can make or break whether you are able to maintain the habits that will ensure a healthy and trim body.
Most of our habits have become subconscious to us and we don’t really think about them. By turning bad habits into positive changes in your lifestyle, you can get to the point where you won’t have to constantly focus on watching your weight.

Heal Yourself With Herbs

What is a herb? The dictionary says: “a plant whose stem is not woody, which dies down to the ground after flowering; a plant whose leaves etc are used for food, medicine, scent or flavor.”

Herbs have been used since the dawn of the human race. Even before people began to cook on fires, herbs were probably being harvested and used raw for food or medicinal purposes.

Most of the well known herbs can easily be grown in a garden. Because they are mostly small plants, even a very small garden such as a roof garden is sufficient. Herbs are ancient, natural plants that grew wild, so they are hardy and resistant to disease when grown in a soil and climate that is similar to their native region. Many of them can also be grown indoors.

Of course they are also used to flavor dishes in cooking. Some dishes and sauces such as pesto and mint sauce are based around one particular herb. Others, like pumpkin pie and sausages, get most of their individual flavoring from the blend of herbs that is used.

Herbs have been in our lives, our homes, our gardens and Experimenting with herbs in cooking can open the door to a new world of culinary delights especially in our kitchens.

Of course herbs can also be used to make herbal teas.As we have already seen, herbs have been used for medicinal purposes for as long as we can imagine. These days, more and more people are turning to natural forms of medicine as an alternative to commercially-produced drugs. Often they experience effective treatment with fewer allergic reactions and side effects than with conventional drugs.

Natural Remedies For Hot Flashes

Let’s face it, hot flashes are not only uncomfortable ,but downright embarrassing! If you are one of 80% of women going through menopause symptoms you may be feeling desperate for relief. A natural remedy for hot flashes is what is needed if you do not want to use hormone replacement therapy.

What Are Hot Flashes?

During a hot flash, the pulse will quicken, the skin goes red, and sweat can pour off the body as if you just walked into a sauna fully clothed. You may feel that you are about to faint or have a heart attack. What is actually happening is that the blood vessels are enlarged, sending more hot blood around the body. When the flash has passed, the effect of the sweating is often to leave you feeling very cold.

Hot flashes can be triggered by certain things in the diet, including hot spicy food, caffeine and alcohol (especially red wine). Keep a food diary to see if this is the case for you. Other triggers include anxiety, stress and anger. Sometimes a hot flash will come for no apparent reason, I’ve gotten a lot of them riding in the car and have to roll down the window just to breathe.

Hot flashes are just one symptom of the menopause. Others can include depression, mood swings, feeling undesirable and becoming very sensitive to criticism. All of these symptoms are a result of the hormonal changes that occur over several years as the body's reproductive systems wind down.

Natural Remedies

There are many herbal remedies on the market. Vitamins can help too. If you have taken supplements for menstrual symptoms in the past that were effective for you, try taking those first. They may work for you again by regulating your hormones.
Some of the best remedies are listed below. Please note that if you have any medical condition such as diabetes or asthma some of these may not be suitable for you. Check with your doctor, telling him or her that you are looking for a natural alternative to HRT. Most doctors will be sympathetic to this.
Sage

Sage is a common herb easily grown in most gardens. Sage extract or sage tea can be very effective in reducing the occurrence and severity of hot flashes during the menopause.
Black Cohosh

Known by Native Americans as 'squaw root', black cohosh is a plant extract that can relieve menstrual cramps caused by low estrogen production, and can also be very effective during the menopause. As well as relieving hot flashes, it has been reported to help with menopausal depression and listlessness.

Black cohosh is also used to treat rheumatic arthritis, headaches, high blood pressure and osteoporosis.
Agnus Castus

This extract from the horse chestnut tree increases progesterone levels in women which helps with menstrual tension and menopausal symptoms. It is particularly effective for hormone-related acne and migraine. However, you may have to take it for some time before you feel the benefit. It is best taken first thing in the morning.

Combine agnus castus, black cohosh and sage for a complete natural treatment for menopausal symptoms.

Vitamin E supplements can also help with menopausal symptoms in some cases.
You may, in fact want to find more herbs that can work together to help with hot flashes, night sweats, moodiness, depression and other like symptoms.
Before taking any herbs you should consult with a qualified herbalist or naturopath to make sure they are right for you and won't cause unwanted side effects. This article is for information only and not meant to diagnose or treat a medical condition. It is recommended to schedule regular visits with your doctor. Note: HRT users should not take natural remedies for hot flashes.

Emotional Triggers and Weight Gain

There are many different reasons why people become overweight.

It is not as simple as saying that overweight people just eat too much because there can be any number of psychological reasons that make people want to eat more.

Emotional triggers such as stress, sadness, depression and so on can all make a person want to eat more food. This is due to the fact that there are certain chemicals in the brain that are linked to both mood and hunger.

Many people associate eating with various different emotions and for this reason they choose to eat more food to make themselves feel better, or happier, or more comforted.

If you feel that this is the reason for your weight problem then it is probably better to get those issues resolved first by seeing a specialist rather than trying to attack the food problem first.

For a lot of people it is habit to over eat and behavioral modification will be the key to weight loss success in these cases.

One of the easiest ways to change your eating behavior is to eliminate any temptations. This is best done at the supermarket by not actually buying foods that are going to cause you a problem.

By not having these low value foods in the house you won't be tempted to eat them because they won't be there and this will encourage you to eat better foods and in doing so change your behavior patterns.

This process is made considerably easier if all members of the household will help towards achieving the goal of better eating.

If you do the shopping then you will be able to determine what food is purchased and this will help to make your weight loss easier, and in doing so it will help the nutrition of all members of the household.

Low fat diets don't work, low calorie diets don't work, low carb diets make you miserable - find out what diet DOES work!

Should You Buy Natural, Organic, Or Hormone-Free Foods?

You may have really great intentions when you head out to the grocery store to get the healthiest foods for your family. Before you shell out extra money on your produce, eggs, meat, milk, etc because it’s labeled natural, organic or something else, you should learn what the difference is.

You will see a lot of fruit and vegetables marked as natural products, which is misleading. Typically, this is simple a marketing ploy to convince you to buy the product. Basically, they’re not processed, so they’re natural. What you most likely want is organic. Organic foods are grown without chemical pesticides and fertilizers. There are two main benefits to organic foods. First, you are avoiding ingesting chemicals and as a result are eating healthier foods. Secondly, you are helping our environment by not contributing to chemical waste. The downside is that organic products are usually more expensive. To save a bit, don’t worry about buying organic fruits or veggies that you peel the skin off of since you get rid of the chemicals on the peel when you throw it away. Instead, spend most of your organic budget for food like apples, where you eat the peel. .

Sometimes the “no hormones” label fools people. Usually it refers to meat products or milk, but it is false, since all animals naturally produce hormones. Hormones are what helps an animal keep their body organs regulated, give birth and other vital functions. All meat products have hormones. What the labels really mean is that no hormones were unnaturally given to the animal, which is sometimes done to increase milk production. There is some controversy on this subject, but even with hormones, the products are consider safe for people to eat.

Lastly, a label on eggs and meat can indicate if the animal was caged or penned. “Free range products usually cost a bit more, but may be the way to go if you are interested in making a humane decision and consider the matter of animal rights.. Reading the label and making healthy choices can sometimes be difficult, but learning how to do so can help you make the best choices for you diet

What Foods Should a Diabetic Eat To Stay Healhty?

Let's take a look at some good suggestions for diabetics to follow:

  • Number one guideline: Carbohydrates effect your blood sugar more than any other food, so it is very important to limit foods that have carbohydrates. A good guideline for amount of carbs to consume is to to 45-60 grams per meal. The type of carbohydrates is not as important as the total amount, although some sources are healthier for you.
  • The best sources for carbohydrates are:
  1. whole grains (i.e. whole wheat bread & pasta, barley, millet, brown & wild rice to name a few)
  2. legumes (i.e. Adzuki beans, black beans, lentils , black-eyed peas, lima beans, etc.)
  3. fruits and vegetables (deep purple, red, green, blue and other colors are particularly good choices)
  • These foods are not only rich in fiber, but in vitamins, minerals and phytochemicals.
  1. oats
  2. barley
  3. apples
  4. citrus fruits
  5. carrots
  6. legumes
  • These foods also slow down the absorption of glucose into the bloodstream, which will help you maintain a healthy glucose level.
  • Diabetics also need to watch their weight in order to keep their blood sugar low. An encouraging note is that even a weight loss of 5-10 lbs can really make a big difference.
It is also important to reduce fat, cholesterol and sodium in your diet since there is an increased risk of developing heart disease, hypertension and circulatory problems.

It is helpful and important to your overall health to know what types of foods to avoid. You can look at it as an adventure to find how many things that you like to eat from the approved choices. Good luck!

Anyone see where I left that scalpel?

This patient has already had some kids, am I correct?

Jerry is recovering from day surgery when a nurse asks him how he is feeling.

Help Us Go to Disneyland!

We are on a mission -take our kids to Disneyland! We are a foster-adopt family with ten kids. After three years with nine kids we added another little baby girl to bring our total up to ten!

My husband and I started doing foster care in 2000 when our two birth children were getting ready to get married, and go off to college. Eight years later, we both agree that we went a little crazy. I'm not quite sure how we went from 2 kids to 10?! And, of course, you fall in love with the kids and when it becomes apparent that one will not go back to their birth parents - then you just don't want to give them up! At least, that's our story.

We adopted our Ali first. She came to us at 16 months of age, and now she is 8 years old. We also have a sibling set of three sisters that we adopted over two years ago. They are 11, 12 and 15 now. Then, there's our other trio - one girl and two boys. Their ages are (girl-8),(boy-5), and (boy-3). We are their adoptive placement and hope to finalize their adoption soon. And lastly, our littlest angel who we got at nine months. For now, she's just here for awhile for us to love and nurture until children's services determines the permanent plan for her.

I just wanted to give you a little background so you could mentally picture our family. We have been greatly blessed and feel lucky to have been here for these kids. As you can probably imagine, our house is busy and NOISY - but never boring. We have had a high stress year or two because of my husband's cancer diagnosis and the results of dealing with that. The Lord is blessing us in that situation right now and he is stable and healthy.

Our kids have a dream that we desperately want to fulfill for them - to go to Disneyland. I know that most kids want to go to Disneyland. But our kids have just had to go through so much already in their young lives. Like many kids from the foster care system, they have been abused/and or neglected. Our three oldest lived in 7 different foster homes over a period of four years while waiting for their case to get settled legally and then to get adopted. We are really hoping to make one grand trip to Disneyland and give them memories that will last a lifetime.

If you are interested in donating to our "Dream Vacation" fund, we would be grateful. I am adding a chart to show our progress in getting our funds for our trip. Thanks and God bless you!

  • How about a walk around the block, not only for the benefits of exercise, but also to get out in the fresh air!
  • Make a list of favorite fruits and vegetables and pick a couple of each to treat yourself to (over and above what you normally eat).
I bet you can think of a lot more ideas if you try. Just pick one today to start with.

Make today the day you start taking positive action. If you're like me, you can think of how many times you've put it off already. Don't talk yourself out of it - just pick one small thing and do it! Only you can make a difference in becoming a healthier, happier you!

Top Ten Tips for Healthy Glowing Skin

I know I want to keep my skin looking beautiful and healthy and I'm sure you do too! Aside from the beauty bit, our skin is our largest organ and protects us against the invasion of foreign substances, also serving as the transfer point for the release of toxins from our bodies.

Now, if you find yourself coveting the gorgeous skin of fashion models andcelebrities in most of today’s magazines, here are some tips that will get you on track for beautiful skin.

Tip #1: Drink Water
It is often said that the simplest way to clear and supple skin is to drink plenty of water. Water has long been considered as the most effective natural treatment because of its being alkaline. It prevents dehydration. Try for 6 to 8 glasses a day for best results.

Tip #2: Watch Your Diet

Nutrition plays a vital role in skin health too. Acidic foods and dairy products are said to cause an allergic reaction in some people. The best recommendation is just to follow a nutritious diet that has a number of fresh fruits and green-leafy veggies, as well as fiber.

Tip #3: Exercise

Regular exercise for keep your skin looking healthy shouldn't be overlooked. Note that proper exercise not only keeps the body fit by regulating the oxygen; it also improves the glow of the skin as well.

Tip #4: Get Enough Rest

One common problem that face people is stress. When you are stressed, the adrenal cortex converts adrenal androgens to the hormone testosterone in males and females alike. This in turn results in overactive sebaceous glands. Causing a double amount of testosterone makes the skin oily, while other areas of the body are still dry from dehydration. So, taking proper rest that includes 6 to 8 hours of undisturbed sleep daily is the best way to rejuvenate the skin.

Tip #5: Use Exfoliants

Many experts say that exfoliating your skin is another great way to attain a beautiful skin. A loofah is great for eliminating the dead skin cells from your body. It helps your skin breathe and should be used once or twice each week. Exfoliants also help to prevent ingrown hair from developing.

For your face, there are a myriad of exfoliating sponges on the market, as well as a number of really good exfoliant gels. Beware of using on acne affected skin however, since they may aggravate the problem. This is one of the better exfoliants for your face and is gentle as well as effective: Dermalogica Gentle Cream Exfoliant, 2.5 fl oz (75 ml)

Tip #6: Establish a Healthy Routine for Facial Care

Most doctors highly recommend that you cleanse, moisturize and tone your skin twice every day. Before going to bed at night, always remember to remove all make up. Clean your skin before you sleep, no matter how tired you may feel. At nighttime your skin goes through a process of elimination and cannot breathe properly if it is clogged with make up. And, you may also find out that sleeping with your make up on will cause your skin to “break out” with spots on it.

A tip for men: To avoid skin rashes from shaving, also make sure that when shaving, the razor strokes are following the direction of hair growth.

Tip #7: Pamper Your Feet

When it comes to skin care, the feet are often neglected. No need for a professional pedicure, fill a basin with warm water and add your favorite essential oil. Soak your feet for about fifteen minutes, dry them and apply a rough skin remover on them. Rinse this off and dry you feet well. Adding body cream to your feet is a nice Finish off with a moisturizing cream and you won't believe how wonderful your feet will feel! Indulge yourself with this absolutely wonderful foot treatment: SpaSensials* Moisturizing & Deep-Conditioning Foot Treatment (4 Treatments)

Tip #8: Tie Your Bangs Out of Your Face

If you tie your their bangs out of their faces for a few hours each day you can help prevent spots from forming, especially if you are prone to oily hair. Just a way to offset an attack of acne.

Tip #9: Don't Get Too Much Sun

It's a pretty common warning not to get too much exposure to the sun. As you may know, over-exposure to sunlight causes sunburn. So, while current sunblocks only block out the UVB rays and still let in harmful UVA rays, consider covering up to protect your skin.

Tip #10: Other Helpful Tips for Skin Care

There are a lot of home remedies for skin care. One of them is blending egg white and honey well and then apply them on the face. Experts believe that this makes your skin smooth and helps to reduce wrinkles.

Did you know that cucumber juice is an excellent astringent for a beautiful, smooth skin? Applying cucumber juice on the face helps tighten the skin pores. Wash it off after 15 minutes.

Another tip that I've heard of is to apply Vaseline over the entire body after a shower. Then, shower again after one hour. The recommendation is to do it twice a month to improve the condition of the skin.

Your skin reflects your health. It is your body’s canvas and one of its valuable assets. So, for good skin care, start developing healthy habits that protect this valuable possession. Remember, it's the only skin you'll ever get!

What Are The Symptoms of Nail Fungus?

How you can tell if you have nail fungus:

These are signs to watch out for if you are concerned about nail fungus

* 1st sign is a white or yellow spot on nail that spreads
* Nails become thicker
* Nails become brittle
* Crumbly or ragged edges
* Dull looking (with no shine)
* Can darken if there’s buildup under the nail
* Separation from nail bed (in severe cases)
* Bad smelling
* Pain caused when separation occurs

With nail fungus you should be right on top of it when you first notice it. It is much easier to treat in the earlier stages - and you will have more success. Waiting only allows the infection to take hold and become advanced. Nail fungus may take months, even up to a year to totally clear up. Part of the problem is that your nails provide a barrier, which is helpful at keeping an infection out. However, once you do have fungus your nails provides a safe, dark place for infection to grow. Fungus likes damp, dark places.

Fast Breaking News About Estrogen and Cancer!

News Release in Today's Newspaper:

You may already be aware that there's an increased risk of breast cancer associated with taking estrogen products. A recently completed study shows that risk of cancer can last for more than two years after taking estrogen and progesterone!

While on this type of hormone therapy risks of heart attacks, strokes and blood clots are increased. These risks are thought to go away when the hormone therapy is stopped, but not so the cancer risks. Added to that, the study concluded that there was increased risk for different malignancies, like lung cancer.

One solution recommended is to get regular mammograms. Those who have taken hormones should be checked regularly for cancer.

My thoughts are that taking hormone therapy is just not worth the risk. So, if you haven't started, don't! If you're on it, get off it. I know by firsthand experience that it is difficult and uncomfortable to go through menopause and experience the symptoms, like hot flashes and night sweats. I have felt pretty desperate myself to get some relief.

What has really worked well for me is
Estroven Caps

While, I realize it may not work for everyone, for me it has done the trick. It sure has helped my moods improve also since I'm not constantly dealing with those terrible hot flashes and am able to get a comfortable night's rest. I'd recommend at least check out

Estroven Caps

They are made of natural ingredients which is a definite plus.
